Job Description:

Senior Staff, Principal & Sr Engineers - Power & Analog Electronics

Washington DC metropolitan suburb

Compensation to: $250K+

Power Technology Associates, Inc. is staffing several levels of electrical engineers to work on multiple power and analog electronics development programs. Positions will be on a team developing advanced electronics and sub-systems for next generation spscecraft / satillite applications.

Desired Experience:
  • Related experience: 5 -12+ years. (depending on position level).
  • Experience developing switch-mode power supplies.
  • 5+ years of experience with development and debug of analog electronics
  • Background with GaN, SiC technologies..
  • Schematic capture and PCB design utilizing Cadence or Altium
  • Circuit analysis including worst-case analysis, SPICE simulation, stress, and FMECA
  • Environmental testing (thermal, vacuum, EMI/EMC)
  • Development of test equipment and test automation, test script: Matlab, Simulink, etc.
  • Writing,and maintaining documentation.
  • Interface with cross functional engineering team
  • Familiarity with radiation hardened (Rad Hard) is a plus
  • Background designing power electronics for space or mil-spec is a plus.
