Lumicity is working with an early-stage startup looking to reimagine the last mile delivery space. Due to recent progressions, they are looking to onboard an early career Mechanical Engineer that is looking to grow with a company for years to come.
You will create many unique systems and help the team launch their pilots for X1. You'll then rapidly iterate alongside the CTO and test with their customers to develop a complete V1 product.
Qualifications
B.S or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or similar field
Experience developing complex mechanical products; ideally includes, but not limited to, products such as robotic manipulators such as robot arms (grippers, grasping) and motor control for servo motors and stepper motors (PID).
Builders' mentality, machine shop experience; hand tools, laser cutting, milling, 3D printing, and similar.
High proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
Experience with one or more of the following: FEA, GD&T, FMEA, DFM, DFA, BOMs, and similar
