MUVIQ is a global pioneer in the research, design, and manufacturing of essential drive systems for truck, construction, agriculture, automotive, and industrial applications.
Basic Function:
Responsible for functional and durability testing on products to demonstrate product capability and prove compliance to MUVIQ, customer, government, and industries specifications/standards, as applicable. Responsible for test planning, implementation, and reporting of the results to project initiator via a formal report.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive product functional and durability tests, design verification tests and product verification tests, both in vehicle and on bench. These tests may be conducted through-out the product life cycle and for various reasons (testing of concept products, product launch, trouble shooting, product changes relative to cost reductions, etc.)
2. Document test procedures/processes to ensure reproducibility and repeatability.
3. Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify trends, validate performance, and diagnose failures.
4. Utilize simulation and statistical tools (e.g. MATLAB) to enhance test accuracy and efficiency.
5. Work closely with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to incorporate test findings into product improvements.
6. Ensure product compliance to MUVIQ, customer, government, and industries specifications/standards, as applicable.
7. Prepare detailed technical test reports to internal and external customers describing the test setup, data acquisition methodology, test results and recommendations for further testing.
8. Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to improve testing including designing new tests and test stands.
9. Acts a reference for department personnel, and others, in testing hardware, software, procedures, and any other applicable information.
10. Provide feedback to development engineers on potential product failure modes.
11. Adhere to industry standards and internal safety protocols during all testing activities.
12. Identify and communicate capital needs to management and project team for project specific CapEx.
13. Stay updated on emerging testing methods and technologies to continually improve testing processes.
