Qualifications
Four-year degree in a relevant field highly desired.
10+ years' experience in heavy civil construction with an emphasis in public works, heavy highway and underground utilities (storm, sewer, water).
Experience with managing mass excavation, underground utilities, paving and site concrete projects.
Experience with team bidding efforts and estimating a broad range of projects / contracts.
Experience with HCSS (Heavybid Software) Agtek and Primavera P6 preferred.
Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills.
Responsibilities
Provide and oversee estimating capabilities and experience to the entire estimating and project pursuit department in bid preparation.
Provide business development skillsets to the California region establishing and maintaining client relationships in securing projects to bid.
Oversee work of Project Engineers and Estimators.
