The University of San Francisco is in the silent phase [focusing on leadership and principal level gifts] of its most ambitious fundraising campaign. With a $500M goal, this campaign will vastly enhance the University's presence and scholarship in the arts, health and life sciences, and entrepreneurism, as well as continue to provide access and opportunity for our highly diverse population of students.
The Director of Development, Principal Gifts will play a critical role on the Principal Gifts team, helping to drive immediate revenue targets focused on gifts of $500K+ while also building the Principal donor pipeline over the long term. Among a curated variety of school, college and unit fundraising priorities, the Director of Development, Principal Gifts will have lead responsibility for either the Health and Life Sciences Campus (HLSC) or Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) campaign priorities, which includes building the pipeline of alumni and community donors for one of the projects; managing, growing and effectively utilizing the HLSC Task Force or E&I Advisory Board to aid in fundraising; and meeting and strategizing with the Deans to advance opportunities with donors and prospects.
