About the Role

As the Sr. Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement. This is a perm position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive new business acquisition by proactively identifying and engaging prospective clients.
  • Execute high-volume cold calling and outbound outreach strategies to generate pipeline growth.
  • Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy that aligns with company goals and market trends.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers, understanding their challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Leverage networking opportunities, conferences, and industry events to create business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution and client success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM, tracking prospecting activities and sales performance.
  • Analyze sales metrics and market trends, adjusting strategies to maximize effectiveness.
  • Mentor and lead junior business development team members, fostering a culture of high performance.

Who You Are:
  • 10+ years of business development or sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of winning new business.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development with a strong network in the pharmaceutical marketing space.
  • Unmatched cold calling skills-comfortable making high-volume outbound calls to engage new prospects.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a relentless drive to exceed sales targets.
  • Extensive experience selling B2B services, digital marketing, or technology solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior-level executives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
