Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist Supervisor in the Unity Place Southprogram at Behavioral Health Network!



Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Unity Place South program with the following:

• Providing leadership to and supervision of the Recovery Specialists to ensure quality care that incorporates the clinical understanding of addiction, dual diagnosis, and related health care issues.


• Monitoring medication administration and oversight and documenting incoming and outgoing medications.


• Assisting staff in developing co-occurring treatment skills and fidelity to the evidence-based practices utilized at the program.


• Questioning and recognizing clinical problems or situations that require creative, innovative solutions and assisting colleagues in identifying alternative solutions.


• Overseeing client activities.


• Assisting in the selection, coaching, and counseling of staff and resolving personnel issues.


• Recognizing and employing adherence to regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.


• Maintaining strict confidentiality of individuals served information at all times in accordance with 42 CFR.

What are we looking for in a Recovery Specialist Supervisor?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).


• At least two years of supervisory experience (preferred).


• At least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment (required).


• Bilingual in Spanish & English (preferred).


• Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration (required).


• Ability to understand, empathize, and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders.


• Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Addiction Services.
