Audit Manager Position Overview The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves leading audit teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality audit services. The Audit Manager will also play a key role in client relationships and contribute to the strategic direction of the audit practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
Review and finalize audit reports and financial statements
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Maintain and develop client relationships
Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies
Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated audit processes
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Proven experience in audit management
Strong knowledge of Excel and General Ledger systems
Experience with Assurance and Planning processes
Familiarity with CCH software
Knowledge of taxation and tax compliance
Experience working with Non-Profit and Government entities
Background in Employee Benefit Plans and Healthcare audits
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
