Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Plan and coordinate shipments, making necessary arrangements with carriers and consolidating orders for efficiency.


• Optimize freight costs by grouping orders strategically to maximize truckload capacity.


• Serve as a primary contact for customers, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with excellent customer service.


• Collaborate with internal departments to support key initiatives and streamline processes.


• Assist with product-related inquiries and provide relevant information as needed.


• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, issuing adjustments or billing corrections when necessary.


• Review and confirm sales fees, service charges, and rebates before processing financial transactions.


• Act as a backup for scheduling shipments by handling required documentation and coordinating with approved carriers.


• Calculate and maintain freight pricing for transportation programs.


• Process claims to recover costs from carriers for lost or damaged shipments.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in logistics/freight carrier coordination.


• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• High School Diploma

Additional Information:

• Pay: $22-23/hr.


• Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri


• Type: Contract-to-hire
