Plan and coordinate shipments, making necessary arrangements with carriers and consolidating orders for efficiency.
Optimize freight costs by grouping orders strategically to maximize truckload capacity.
Serve as a primary contact for customers, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with excellent customer service.
Collaborate with internal departments to support key initiatives and streamline processes.
Assist with product-related inquiries and provide relevant information as needed.
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, issuing adjustments or billing corrections when necessary.
Review and confirm sales fees, service charges, and rebates before processing financial transactions.
Act as a backup for scheduling shipments by handling required documentation and coordinating with approved carriers.
Calculate and maintain freight pricing for transportation programs.
Process claims to recover costs from carriers for lost or damaged shipments.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in logistics/freight carrier coordination.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma
