Position Overview



Ledgent Finance & Accounting is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Accountant - AP/AR Specialist to join a dynamic team within the manufacturing industry in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role provides hands-on training from the controller, offering an enriching environment for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Handle all Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes with precision and efficiency.


• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.


• Provide excellent customer service for AR responsibilities, liaising with both customers and vendors.


• Match invoices and resolve any discrepancies that arise.


• Assist with the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.


• Prepare invoices and manage billing and invoice delivery.


• Generate aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.


• Apply customer payments and manage bank deposits effectively.


• Maintain comprehensive audit reports and manage purchase orders (POs).

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, OR equivalent full-cycle AP/AR experience.


• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
  


• Basic proficiency in Excel is necessary for this role.

Required Work Hours



This position requires availability from Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
