Ledgent Finance & Accounting is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Accountant - AP/AR Specialist to join a dynamic team within the manufacturing industry in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role provides hands-on training from the controller, offering an enriching environment for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
Handle all Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes with precision and efficiency.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Provide excellent customer service for AR responsibilities, liaising with both customers and vendors.
Match invoices and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
Assist with the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Prepare invoices and manage billing and invoice delivery.
Generate aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.
Apply customer payments and manage bank deposits effectively.
Maintain comprehensive audit reports and manage purchase orders (POs).
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, OR equivalent full-cycle AP/AR experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
Basic proficiency in Excel is necessary for this role.
Required Work Hours
This position requires availability from Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
