Are you a collaborative, detail-oriented, and organized Payroll Manager with union experience? Our client is seeking a Payroll Manager to own the payroll process and serve as the main point of contact for the designated companies. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and growing environment while reporting directly to the Payroll Director.

Key Responsibilities: • Process and validate weekly payrolls • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws • Manage union payroll and monthly reporting • Handle multi-state payroll processing • Address employee payroll concerns and provide timely resolutions • Maintain and improve payroll processes and procedures • Work with payroll providers on tax accounts, audits, and reconciliations • Serve as a back-up for multi-company payrolls and support year-end/W-2 processes.
What We're Looking For: • 5+ years of payroll processing experience (certified payroll processing a plus) • Union payroll experience required • Strong knowledge of payroll functions, compliance, and tax regulations • Multi-state payroll experience required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Payroll and ERP systems • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field • Work onsite with some flexibility
