The Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering sales training content to prepare Sales Reps to achieve sales quota and marketing objectives through training initiatives while operating within the company policies/procedures and expense budget.What you'll be doing
Collaborates with key stakeholders to determine training needs as well as optimal mechanisms & channels to achieve objectives
Collaborates with Marketing to ensure training plans achieve the product objectives
Develops training that meets the needs of Fracture Care sales organization (and other as assigned) to ensure key performance indicators are met or exceeded including sales revenue, growth objectives and key marketing initiatives.
Implements training tactics to support sales strategies and sales model.
Develops, conducts, and manages internal training sessions for sales representatives, sales managers, and corporate partners as assigned.
Develops and executes post training surveys and uses feedback to continuously improve.
Evaluates performance, provides coaching/feedback, and makes suggestions on opportunities for improvement to field sales representatives.
Ensures compliance with all Bioventus policies in all training activities and personal performance.
Provides logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
Improves overall sales effectiveness/capacity through technology and process improvement, coaching, optimization, and efficiency.
Works with the Director of Sales Education and Sales Management to identify capability gaps, and build appropriate training to enhance field sales knowledge and skill development.
Travel to Corporate Cities to provide Training (Durham, NC & Memphis, TN), perform sales rep field rides and support training at various sales meeting locations.
Hold oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.

What you'll bring to the table
Bachelor's Degree
5 years related industry experience, Bone Stimulation Preferred
Including 2 years' sales training experience or equivalent, preferably in Medical Devices.
Demonstrated expertise in product, clinical and disease state knowledge, and the ability to convey this knowledge to various levels of learners
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent coaching skills
Ability to manage an expense budget
Ability to adapt and change as needed
Strategic mind set
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training software programs
Proven track record of territory management success with no significant compliance issues
