Job Description:

The Materials OperationsCoordinator is responsible for the coordination and procurement of electrical andinstrumentation equipment and supplies for the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I)Department. Prepares technical specifications for equipment and supplies, obtainquotes, prepare requisitions, and orders electrical equipment. Assists in the preparationof budget, controlling inventory, maintenance contracts, and equipment repairsand with the administrative functions related to the E&I Department.

Job Requirements
     
    Education Required •High School Diploma or GED Desired •Associate Degree in Business or Financial Management   Experience  Required •Minimum of three years’ experience in ordering industrial supplies to include some experience with industrial products, pricing, purchasing, and procurement •Minimum of three years’ experience in general office administrative skills •Demonstrated experience using MS Word, MS Excel, and a database software program Desired •Experience in an electrical and instrumentation industry •Experience within the water/wastewater treatment industry and knowledge of the water/wastewater treatment processes and conveyance systems (i.e. pumping stations)   Licenses and Certifications Requirements •Valid driver’s license from state of residence
