Job Description:

Job Summary

The Quality Control Engineer will maintain ARIA's quality system and ensure the quality of products being shipped to ARIA's customers. The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for corrective action, internal audits, process improvements, RMA testing and analysis, and maintaining vendor performance metrics.

Duties/ResponsibiIities:
  • Develop, implement, and improve production processes, with the goal of reducing cost and maximizing efficiency.
  • Monitor the quality of employee training and safety standards in the manufacturing process.
  • Analyze workflow, space requirements and equipment layout.
  • Develop and update Work Instructions for products using Adobe InDesign. o Conduct training for Production Technicians on any updates.
  • Work directly with suppliers on all aspects of quality control.
  • Accept or reject incoming and in-process products.
  • Oversee customer RMA processing, analysis, and root cause identification. o Analyze customer feedback to identify potential flaws in product or process. Conduct ARIA's weekly quality meeting.
  • Create and manage quality cases in Epicor as needed. o Present quality KPIs and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain supplier quality/corrective action metrics and reports. o Involved with supplier quarterly business reviews. Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
  • Work directly with suppliers to provide Failure Analysis reporting in a timely manner.
  • Check production output for quality.
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with software such as Epicor, Power Bl, Excel, and Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.
  • Highly organized, efficient, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working with and development of a Quality Management System.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.

  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, depending on the area.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Pay Transparency: The starting annual salary for this opportunity ranges from $75,000-$90,000. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance. Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
