Project Manager | Municipal Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Project Manager to oversee municipal civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and teams to ensure successful completion of infrastructure initiatives including water, wastewater, and storm water management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage municipal civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and clients.
Conduct site visits and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and project plans.
Prepare and present project updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Manage project documentation and ensure timely communication among team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
8+ years of experience in municipal projects and civil design.
Familiarity with MicroStation and other design software.
Strong knowledge of construction management practices and principles.
Experience with water, wastewater, and storm water management projects.
