Job Description As a Traveling Superintendent, you will oversee the construction of custom homes across various locations. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires extensive travel to job sites and a strong commitment to maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for custom home projects.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and budgets.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
Travel to various job sites as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in residential construction, preferably with custom homes.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel extensively and work at various job sites.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
