Job Description: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, marketing and sales management, profit management, human resource management, asset management, and safety and security management. You will work closely with various departments to achieve our goals and maintain a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Maintain guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel. Demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding to guests' needs and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Sales Management: Assist Sales team in developing and implementing marketing and action plans to maximize revenue per available room. Coordinate advertising, public relations, and promotional programs.
  • Profit Management: Meet or exceed budgeted profit margins. Accurately forecast revenues and expenses, and prepare annual budgets.
  • Human Resource Management: Manage recruiting, selection, orientation, training, performance planning, and evaluation. Maintain a positive work environment and ensure compliance with local and federal laws.
  • Asset Management: Manage preventive maintenance programs and coordinate capital projects. Conduct weekly property audits and ensure ongoing staff involvement in maintenance programs.
  • Safety and Security Management: Understand and implement local health and safety codes. Recognize and correct potential safety and security hazards.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of hotel experience in operations, food and beverage, or administrative roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, accounting, or business.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
