Our client is seeking experienced Insurance Coverage Attorneys to join their teams in Los Angeles and Irvine, California. These positions offer the flexibility of a full remote work schedule, with an annual billable hour requirement of 1900 hours. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in insurance coverage law and litigation, capable of evaluating and resolving complex issues to ensure positive outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret insurance policies to assess coverage issues and provide coverage opinions.
Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, disclaimers, and related correspondence.
Provide strategic advice to clients on policy interpretation and claims handling.
Manage insurance coverage cases from inception to resolution, including client updates and ensuring timely progression of cases.
Collaborate with litigation teams on insurance coverage-related matters, including the preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Represent clients in coverage disputes, including assisting in settlement negotiations and, when necessary, attending hearings and trials.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in California.
2+ years of experience in insurance coverage law, with strong expertise in policy analysis, preparing coverage opinions, and drafting reservations and disclaimers.
