The Advisor, Third Party Design Services will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all external design services contracted by the organization. This individual will play a critical role in driving improvements in quality, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment with business needs by managing vendor relationships, conducting market analysis, and identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

Vendor Oversight and Performance Management

Oversee third-party design service vendors, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost agreements.

Monitor vendor performance through established KPIs and conduct regular reviews to ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address service issues and drive improvements.

Market Analysis and Strategy Development

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify leading and emerging vendors, trends in design services, and opportunities to leverage competitive advantages.

Analyze industry developments to recommend new vendors or technologies that align with business objectives.

Provide strategic insights on where the design services market is heading and how the organization can stay ahead of the curve.

Cost Optimization and Quality Improvement

Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and service enhancements to deliver maximum value.

Identify opportunities to lower costs while maintaining or improving the quality of design services.

Partner with internal teams to standardize processes and ensure seamless integration with third-party services.

Partnership and Collaboration

Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation and mutual growth.

Act as the primary liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations and deliverables.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Lead initiatives to explore new methods, tools, or processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of third-party design services.

Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into vendor management strategies.

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in full arch digital denture design or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in vendor management, market analysis, or strategic partnerships, preferably in a design services or similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to conduct market research and develop actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in driving cost reductions and quality improvements through vendor collaboration.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of design service workflows and processes is a plus.
  • The ability to conduct up to 75% travel (International and Domestic.)

Additional Details:
  • Base Pay Range: $87,000-112,000 with a 10% bonus (Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualifications.)
  • This position can be remote based on geographic location, but if candidate is located within 30 minutes from our Chicago, IL office then hybrid will be the expectation.
