Our client is a leading supplier of recreation equipment. They are seeking to hire a CAD Playground Designer responsible for designing custom play / recreation spaces utilizing various software and ensuring safety guidelines are met. In this role, you will collaborate with the sales team in achieving the client's vision.
This is a role reports to an office M-F.
Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD designs/blocks and software to create customized playgrounds / recreation spaces
Create 2D and 3D structures utilizing 3ds Max, AutoCAD and other software
Develop templates for drawings and presentations
Create detailed and realistic renderings/drawings and presentations to include different recreation spaces (standard, themed and/or customized)
Maintain site design documentation; project schedule, workflow documents, etc.
Adhere to safety guidelines in design creations
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in technical drafting and design required, Bachelor's preferred
Min. 1-2+ years of experience in architectural, engineering and/or media design
Experience in sales and/or customer service a plus
Knowledge/Understanding of 3ds Max, Lumion or other rendering software
Exceptional knowledge of AutoCAD
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret journals, government regulations and technical procedures
Ability to prepare reports and procedural manuals
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong Mathematical and Organizational skills
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
Offering:
Base Salary $70,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
