Apella Wealth is a rapidly growing, fee-only comprehensive financial planning firm headquartered in West Hartford, Connecticut with offices nationwide. At Apella, we are tireless advocates for those we serve through all life stages including preparing to buy a house or start a family, planning for college savings or retirement, divorce, career change, sale of a business, or loss of a spouse or loved one. For some, we act as an educator. For others, a coach or mentor. For most, we are an important catalyst and trusted partner that inspires clients to take control of their financial lives.
The paraplanner plays a critical role in Apella's authentic dedication to financial planning. Apella's centralized planning department supports our financial advisors and planners nationwide with new financial plan construction, existing financial plan updates, and supporting analyses necessary for financial plan presentation and recommendations. The paraplanner must have the ability to use critical-thinking skills, work within a team, and anticipate firm needs and client questions. Qualified candidates are detail-oriented, structured and have a high degree of follow-through. Though the position is client facing, this is not a sales related role. There is zero expectation of business development. This is an in-office, with some work from home flexibility, position in our new West Hartford, CT office in Blue Back Square.
