For these different product lines, they are responsible for designing the system architecture, hardware selection, software development, configuring and installing systems, lifetime support and services as well as the back-end web monitoring and database.
ELM Microgrid is looking to hire a Director of Asset Management to help lead the testing, service, and support of all their products deployed in the field.
This position will be responsible for overseeing a team that performs the following:
The successful factory testing of systems before they are shipped out to customers
On-site commissioning work that is performed on the deployed systems to verify everything is functioning properly
Performing periodic maintenance on systems
Respond to warranty claims and issues
Provide customer support services and active monitoring of deployed systems
This applicant should be familiar with the energy storage market and the technical and safety requirements needed to successfully deploy products into the field. The applicant should have a power system electrical background, be familiar with the types of equipment involved in a microgrid (i.e. Storage Inverters, batteries, transformers, switchgear, etc.). The applicant should also have experience hiring and managing field technicians and engineers as well as mentoring them so they continue their career development. This applicant would be responsible for scheduling of work trips, training and development of their teams, managing customer expectations, managing the completion of testing and servicing reports.
Qualifications:
10-15 years of relevant experience
Electrical Engineering degree a plus
Electrician experience a plus
Project management and scheduling
Microsoft office products
Must have effective oral and written communication skills and work well with people
Must be a self-motivator to create and coordinate their own tasks and goals with minimum supervision
OSHA training and NFPA70E certification is a plus
This job could require up to 20% travel
