ML6 has partnered with a first-class manufacturing organization in their search for a Plant Controller to join its growing operation. The Plant Controller oversees all financial operations at the facility, ensuring accurate financial reporting, planning, and cost management. Acting as a key business partner to plant leadership, this role provides financial insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing:
Financial Reporting & Profitability - Ensure accurate financial reporting, analyze trends, and provide insights to improve plant profitability.
Inventory & Asset Management - Oversee inventory accuracy, audits, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize material usage.
Budgeting & Forecasting - Manage the plant's financial planning, aligning budgets and forecasts with corporate objectives.
Financial Compliance & Audits - Ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations, supporting internal and external audits.
Cost Accounting & Variance Analysis - Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs, identifying variances and driving cost-saving improvements.
Operational Excellence & Capital Investments - Support continuous improvement projects and evaluate capital investments to enhance efficiency.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
B.S. in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of experience in controlling and/or cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Experience driving cost-saving initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of job costing systems.
MBA or CPA preferred.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive financial improvements.
