PACIV, an international control systems integration and regulatory compliance engineering firm servicing Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, F&B, and Water/Wastewater clients, is looking for a full-time Validation Engineer (Level I) team member for our USA office (Indianapolis). Overview:We seek a highly skilled Electrical Controls Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for electrical control systems projects, ensuring that we meet client specifications while staying within budget. This role requires an understanding of electrical controls, system design, and project management principles, along with working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to provide accurate and timely estimates.Key Responsibilities:
Review electrical control system plans, schematics, and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and vendors to gather information and ensure comprehensive bid preparation.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads.
Analyze project documentation to assess the scope of work.
Communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and project-specific information.
Ensure that estimates are completed on time and in line with project deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends, electrical control technologies, and best practices to provide informed estimates.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in electrical controls estimating or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
Ability to interpret electrical plans, schematics, and specifications.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in industrial electrical control systems.
