The Packaging Runner is responsible for efficiently and safely unloading packaging materials, and pallets off of trailers. This role ensures that items are properly handled and organized into designated areas within the plant. The Packaging Runner will pick materials and move materials to areas of the plant for use.
Packaging Runners will utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to move products.
Packaging Runners will use scanners to receive packaging materials to and to locate materials in racking locations or floor locations within the plant. Hand counting of materials may be required.
Packaging Runners will pick orders for materials and may be required to lift and hand stack materials to be distributed throughout the plant.
Packaging Runners may be required to unload pallet trailers and verify counts.
Packaging Runners will be required to keep all work areas clean and free of debris.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to work in a humid, cold, wet or slippery surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (P.P.E)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
Experience using scanners
Good math skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Be attentive to detail
Ability to work safely, wear P.P.E, and follow instructions
Ability to attend work consistently
Display strong work ethic

Summary
America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
