Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for one of our clients located in Westerville, OH.
Rate Range: $25.00/hour to $30.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
This role is onsite in Westerville, Ohio.
The ideal candidate will work with the industry leader for quality control and process optimization equipment utilized in the Power and Automation Industry.
Candidate must possess solid electronic troubleshooting abilities as well as demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair capabilities with an eye for technical accuracy and thoroughness. Service and repair activities must be performed within established ISO certified policies and procedures and documented accordingly.
A minimum of an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent work/military experience is required along with a minimum of 5 years related field service support.
Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment is required. General software knowledge is a must (Windows 10, MS Word, MS Excel). The candidate will require the skills to troubleshoot various electronic boards to component level and replace components, including through-hole and surface mount to IPC-A-610 standards. Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Voltmeters and Oscilloscopes is required. In addition to electronic skills, good mechanical skills are preferred. Experience with LabView programming and / or use of LabView programs is a plus.
Additional requirements include the ability to work overtime as necessary to meet customers needs and a desire to participate in continuing education as necessary to meet customers and company needs.
