A highly proficient and detail-oriented Flooring Project Manager is needed to oversee concrete floor treatment projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in polished concrete, concrete staining, broadcast systems, epoxy and polyurethane coatings, concrete patch and repair, cementitious coating toppings, moisture vapor coatings, joint fillers, and traffic coatings.
Responsibilities:
Project Estimation & Bidding: Accurately estimate and bid on concrete floor treatment projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Client & Contractor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and direct clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Coordination: Develop and update work order forms to ensure seamless communication and coordination between field operations and office staff.
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) and change orders while maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including proper notes and backups.
Project Oversight: Monitor project costs, progress, and quality control to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Close-Out Procedures: Oversee project close-out, including submission of all necessary documentation and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in construction project management, preferably within flooring or concrete coatings.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret plans, perform take-offs, and utilize estimating software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and OnScreen Takeoff or equivalent software is required.
Communication & Organization: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a disciplined and process-oriented approach to project management.
Bilingual: Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with best practices in polished concrete, coatings, and floor treatment solutions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience.
