Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Project Management
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - confident presenting to executive leadership
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying a variety of project management methodologies
Experience working in a matrixed environment - strongly prefer global team experience
Hands on experience creating schedules, project plans, etc.
Plusses:
Master's degree in business administration, Finance or Supply Chain
PMP Certification
ScrumMaster Certification
Azure DevOps or Plannisware project management tool
Day to Day:
A fortune 100 global organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager that will sit onsite 4 days a week in Erlanger Kentucky for a long-term contract.
The Global Technology Associate Project Manager will be a member of the North America PMO team and will be responsible for building a strong project schedule with the right resource mix; managing the schedule; and applying the right Project Management processes and procedures throughout the entire life cycle. Working at the direction of a Senior Project Managers on discovery and delivery of projects small to moderate in size, scope, and complexity.
Key Skills
Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise-level/key strategic project management initiatives from Discovery through Closure.
Build a schedule that addresses all key project areas (tasks, resources, dependencies, estimates) while challenging common assumptions to deliver quality while on time, in budget and within scope.
Able to identify when adjustments are needed to a project's triple constraints (scope, cost, time) regardless of the PM methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) deployed.
Identify risk/risks mitigation plan(s) and captures issues/plan, drives all necessary follow-through to minimize risks and remove blockers.
Leverage project documentation and lessons learned to continuously improve PM processes and tools.
Provide thought leadership and advances the project management profession while continuing to grow in knowledge of project management methodologies and leading practices.
Develop and coach project team members so they understand what they are accountable for delivering and feel empowered to make the necessary decisions to deliver; provide adequate direction and support.
Engage business stakeholders to apply PM principles to achieve their objectives and business drivers.
Leverage organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills.
