JOB TITLE: Project Manager

COMPENSATION: Salary

SUMMARY: The Project Manager at Goodgame Company, Inc. is responsible for estimating, securing, and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. The Project Manager must uphold and advance the company's interests while fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Provide leadership and maintain effective, harmonious relationships with on-site staff, ensuring strong project morale.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and contract requirements

DUTIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and sales acumen to effectively secure and manage construction projects.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of General Contracts, Subcontracts, contract drawings, specifications, and addenda.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Teams, Excel).
  • Identify and communicate design deficiencies, impractical details, and potential code violations in contract documents.
  • Assist in developing and refining project schedules to meet required deadlines.
  • Exhibit conceptual estimating skills for commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Plan and review the Construction Program, including quality control procedures, scheduling, safety measures, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure Subcontractor compliance with contractual obligations before commencing on-site work.
  • Coordinate with inspection agencies and implement necessary remedial actions.
  • Conduct and document weekly coordination meetings and monthly safety meetings with subcontractors.
  • Review and approve as-built prints monthly.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and routinely handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends as required.
  • Strong vision, stamina, and hand-eye coordination.

EDUCATION: Degree or Experience
  • Preferred: Four-year degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
  • Alternative: Four-year degree from a non-relevant field with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Completion of 10-hour OSHA training.
  • LEED AP or LEED training (preferred but not required).
