Looking for an experienced Office Manager for an established busy practice with two plastic surgeons in Boca Raton.
Office Hours Range: 8:00AM-6:00PM, Full Time Work Schedule
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000 per year depending on experience with full benefits (health insurance, PTO, retirement, and more!)
Work experience at a Plastic Surgeon's or Dermatologist's Practice is mandatory.
This role will include overseeing and working with the staff, surgical coordination, assisting physicians when needed, enforcing compliance with HIPAA and other regulations and supervising the handling of health records.
Applicants must have 5 years' management experience in a medical office and prefer a 4-year college degree in the field of science and work experience in a Plastic Surgery or Dermatology office.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Oversee and primarily responsible for surgeon's office and surgical schedules. • Supervise the creation and maintenance of patient records. • Update office procedures to comply with current regulations. • Maintain provider and staff work schedules. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA state regulations, and all internal policies. • Assist with reception and medical office assistant tasks as needed. • Assist with Human Resources (HR). Requirements and Qualifications: • Familiarity with aesthetic treatments and plastic surgery is required. • Exceptional skills working with patients and staff. • Minimum of a BA in healthcare administration, business administration, or a relevant field of science. • 5 years' experience working in a medical office in a supervisory role. • Working knowledge of medical terminology. • Strong leadership and motivational skills References reveal a high-level ability to successfully handle a supervisory role.
