Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Director of Admissions to lead and expand our enrollment efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in higher education admissions, a strong sales background, and experience integrating admissions and marketing strategies to drive student enrollment. This role requires exceptional leadership, CRM expertise, and performance management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a high-performing enrollment pipeline using CRM tools like (HubSpot).
Close sales and drive enrollment growth by building strong relationships with prospective students.
Partner with the marketing team to align admissions strategies with marketing efforts.
Build and develop a high-performing admissions team by recruiting top talent, providing ongoing training, and fostering a culture of accountability and success.
Establish and execute a strategic vision for the Admissions Department, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and enrollment objectives.
Promote continuous growth and learning by encouraging team members to engage in professional development opportunities, industry networking, and skill enhancement.
Hold self and team accountable to high-performance standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a DOA or ADOA in a higher education setting.
Proven sales ability with a strong track record of driving enrollment.
CRM Mastery: Experienced in creating and managing an enrollment pipeline. (HubSpot Experience preferred)
Strong leadership skills: Ability to set a vision and motivate a team to achieve a goal.
Data-driven: Ability to generate and report accurate enrollment data.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have but Not Required):
Experience enrolling local SF Bay Area students.
Strong relationships with local high school counselors.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in student admissions.
VA experience: Experience working with veteran students and VA admissions is a plus.
Work Schedule & Location:
This is an in-office role, Monday-Friday.
A hybrid schedule is available, offering flexibility. Employees are expected to be in the office three days a week and may work from home for two.
SF Bay Area-based candidates preferred. Relocation available for the right candidate.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary of $120K-130K annually, based on experience.
