Job Description:

Job Title: iOS Developer

Location: Austin (Preferred) | Backup: Southlake or Denver | On-site 4 days per week

Duration: 8 months (with possibility of conversion)

What You Will Do:
  • Prepare specifications, design, develop, and support mobile applications while following mobile best practices.
  • Assess and optimize designs using evaluation tools and analysis to ensure optimal user experiences on phones and tablets.
  • Create and perform unit testing across a spectrum of mobile devices.
  • Develop and support native mobile applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain production systems.
  • Prepare documentation for new development work while adhering to development standards.
  • Utilize expertise in Swift/SwiftUI and quickly adapt to new mobile development languages.
  • Leverage in-depth experience with Apple iOS frameworks and SDKs to build user-friendly applications.

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of native iOS development experience.
  • Expert proficiency in Swift.
  • Experience working with Combine and SwiftUI.
  • Proficiency in Unit Testing and Automated UI Testing using XCTest framework.
  • Strong experience integrating with REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and debugging issues.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
  • Knowledge of reactive architecture (preferred).
  • Experience building native features as modules (plus).
  • Strong understanding of SOLID design principles.
  • Experience collaborating with Architects and Stakeholders to design appropriate solutions.
  • Expertise in debugging memory and performance issues.
  • Familiarity with native accessibility features such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
  • Experience working in iterative development environments such as TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
  • Understanding of technical issues, designs, and best practices.

  • Enterprise-level development experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify stakeholders, assess needs, and manage expectations through effective communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
