Must be open to working ONSITE in a manufacturing environment where exposure to various machinery and high-voltage systems is present. Compliance with safety standards is required at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitors the capacity of the production departments to ensure capacity both in equipment and resources to meet requirements as set out by the Master Schedule.
Ensures operational KPI's and OPEX are established, and objectives are met.
Maintains operational budgets for each production department, including obtaining and reviewing budget results with budget owners monthly, identifying deviations and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
Coordinates operating departments to ensure a continual follow of product to meet both internal and external requirements.
Participates and promotes in Lean manufacturing activities.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years' previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to mentor others and work well under pressure.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of Oracle would be an asset.
Prior experience working with a unionized workforce considered an asset.
