As a Loan Assistant, you will be part of a team that strives to make real estate transactions efficient, smooth, and client-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist loan officers in processing residential and commercial real estate loans.
Collect, review, and organize required documentation from clients (e.g., financial statements, credit reports, property appraisals, etc.).
Ensure all loan documentation is complete and compliant with company policies, state, and federal regulations.
Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather information and clarify loan requirements.
Prepare loan files and ensure all documents are correctly filed and maintained in the system.
Assist in the preparation and submission of loan applications to underwriting departments.
Monitor the loan pipeline to ensure timely completion of all steps in the loan process.
Follow up with clients to request missing documentation or additional information.
Perform data entry and maintain loan records in the company's loan management system.
Help resolve any issues or discrepancies related to loan applications and documents.
Support loan officers in ensuring that all transactions meet deadlines and compliance requirements.
Handle client inquiries professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in real estate, lending, or a related field is a plus.
Strong understanding of real estate loan processes and documentation is a bonus.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and loan management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
