A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a Senior EHS Manager to join their team. This role would be based in their Sacramento location and will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EHS and PSM programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.
The Role:
Develop and lead training programs to educate employees on appropriate EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
Serve as the leader in any PSM activities and work with other subject matter experts to implement appropriate programs and policies.
Provide leadership and guidance to EHS staff.
Lead and oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of subsequent corrective actions.
Ensure the company continually remains compliant and informed of industry regulatory changes.
The Candidate:
B.S. in Safety, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related science major required.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge working in a PSM environment.
7+ years of experience within a manufacturing/industrial plant, preferably at a chemicals or pharmaceuticals organization.
3+ years of experience as a proven leader, with strong communication skills who can engage with a diverse team.
Experience dealing with regulatory bodies e.g. Cal-OSHA
