Dexian is assisting their client in the Spencer area with a need in their Procurement team. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the purchasing operations for the company and reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Their duties include:
Prepare request for proposals along with request for quotes
Develop and maintain all procurement policies and procedures
Track all contracts and make sure that they stay up to date
Select suppliers based on cost-effectiveness and quality
Create purchase orders and confirm all goods/services received
Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/terms and maintain strong relationships
Assist with financial reporting along with audit preparation
Making sure to stay up to date with compliance/documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3-5+ years' of professional Purchasing/Procurement experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
