Requirements: • 5+ years of experience translating requirements from Liaison engineering and putting them into a sequences plan/build plan in a manufacturing or aerospace environment • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Software experience: GoldEsp or any MES (manufacturing execution systems), ability to navigate any 3D software (CATIA, etc.) • Understand and navigate engineering drawings and BOM (bill or materials) • Aerospace experience
Preferred: • Previous experience compiling tools lists needed for projects • Experience annotating 3D graphics • Structures experience/ floor experience as a mechanic or quality role • Bachelors in Engineering

Insight Global is seeking Manufacturing Planners to join one of our large aerospace clients in San Antonio, TX. This is a 100% on-site role where engineers will be working on a production floor environment and frequently boarding aircrafts. In this role you will collaborate with Liaison Engineering and Mechanic teams when any non-conformance arise. This person will be responsible for taking dispositions from Liaison Engineering and translating it into a build plan to line out step-by-step instructions for Mechanics to follow, while referencing engineering drawings and inspection points.
Position Responsibilities: • Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. • Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. • Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. • Leads and implements manufacturing plans. • Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. • Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices. • Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions. • Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. • Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. • Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. • Implement lean principles and technologies.
