The Community Investment team is responsible for leading efforts with Corporate Donations and our Client's Employee Giving program. Through this work, Community Investment accelerates the pace of positive change the company wishes to see in the world. This experience will not only help with the day to day operations and support of Corporate Donations, and potentially Employee Giving and other aspects of Community Investment, but will also help identify solutions for operational growth.
As the Community Investment Grants Associate within the Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives organization, you will work with a globally dispersed cross-functional team to lead a variety of grants.
This position ensures a smooth workflow, organizes, actively manages schedules and trackers and routinely communicates with a wide array of individuals while supporting the work of our mission and vision.
Strong organizational skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, forward-thinking business insight and strong written and spoken skills are essential to the success of this role. This role has significant administrative needs within a fast paced environment with many deliverables running in parallel.
Responsibilities:
A primary function of this role will consist of trafficking and managing Client's Corporate Grants to qualified organizations
Liaison between Client's cross-functional teams to make sure all processes are followed for grant programs
Support, organize and scope the next phases of the Client's Community Investment grant programs
Manage relationships with corporate donation recipients and source new potential community partners-seeking new opportunities for introducing partners to our employees to both inspire them and promote taking action
Manage and assist with program administration, raw data importing of legacy information, financial processing, and additional needs.
Oversee and manage program inboxes, ensuring timely and efficient handling of incoming inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Collect and evaluate impact reports from program stakeholders to provide insights for continuous program improvement and strategic decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in high-tech project management
Experience working in Social Impact, CSR, and non-profit engagement with an emphasis on grant management
Proven ability of leading multiple grants combined with the ability to execute tactical activities and tasks
Successful track record of Community Engagement at a strategic level within an organization of comparable scope, size, and complexity.
Ability to plan, communicate, handle, and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales
Strong organizational and documentation skills with a high level of attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and self managing
Flexible, resourceful, and detail-oriented
Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists
Experience, comfort and success working with senior leadership
Familiarity with Mac OS X and iOS a must
Strong proficiency in Keynote, Numbers, and Pages
Must be able to support standard working hours in Pacific Time Zone.
