Key Responsibilities
Coordinating & Dispatching Technicians
Assign jobs to technicians based on urgency, skill level, and location to maximize efficiency.
Adjust schedules and re-route technicians as issues arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
Track job progress and technician locations to provide real-time updates to customers and management.
Customer Communication & Support
Respond to incoming calls, emails, and service requests, gathering all necessary job details.
Set clear expectations for customers regarding service timelines, technician arrival, and costs.
Address customer concerns or scheduling conflicts with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
Administrative & Record-Keeping Duties
Maintain accurate and detailed records of service requests, work orders, and technician assignments.
Ensure all job details, technician notes, and customer interactions are documented and accessible.
Work closely with the team to improve scheduling processes and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
5+ years of dispatching experience required.
Industry experience in Plumbing, HVAC, or Construction highly preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Strong ability to juggle multiple calls and requests while staying organized.
