Type: full-time

Job Description:

Core Role: The Student Accommodation Manager role provides full-time support to our student athletes in terms of caring for them, monitoring them, planning offsite activities, and coordinating the daily and weekly logistics for the rest of the house parent team under the supervision of the Junior Academy director. This role will be the lead house parent, managing a team of 3-4 staff to take care of around 20 students. Students are housed across 3-4 homes. All our homes are luxury houses within the Reunion Resort. The role will require the Student Accommodation Manager to live full time within one of the homes.

Being a house parent should be considered more of a calling than an occupation. You must have an innate concern for the well-being of young people. You do not choose the children placed in your care, so a good understanding of cultural differences is important. Effective house parents have a strong sense of responsibility, great leadership skills, are very organized, able to work in close proximity to others, and are in good health and physical condition.
