CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a motivated Packaging Designer that excels at creative strategy for one of our premier clients. This is a Direct Hire opportunity onsite in Norcross, GA. You must be a self-starter who takes on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of packaging designs, sell sheets, signage, planograms, catalog, and PowerPoint presentation layouts. You will support the packaging process for the company's brands, and private label/customer brands. you must have 5+ years of related work experience.
To be successful, you should have:
Experience with graphic design, specifically with packaging
Ability to think creatively and develop new designs while handling multiple projects and deadlines at once.
Knowledge of vector and raster artwork and file types (and the differences between them)
Analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Illustration skills, along with photography and videography experience a plus
Strong marketing skills for visual communication in sell sheets and product presentations
Responsibilities:
Creates final packaging art files for printing purposes and certifies that files meet all required printing specs
Updates packaging art files for reprints as needed
Routes art files to internal stakeholders for review and approvals to ensure all content is accurate
Ensures all revisions are made to art files in a timely manner
Assists with reviewing proofs submitted by printers for 100% accuracy
Assists with the organization, maintenance, and archiving of proofs, packaged art files and graphic assets
Follows and maintains existing brand and style guidelines
Collaborates with Brand, Sales and Digital Teams to adapt brand guidelines across marketing and digital collateral
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design or related field
Expert skills with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
Technical ability to prepare, package, and pre-flight files for production
Strong layout skills and design sensibility with a solid understanding of typography, layout and brand identity principles
Deadline-oriented with an ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks efficiently
An online portfolio showcasing product packaging and graphic design A MUST
