Our client, a Tier II shipyard in Vancouver, WA, seeks a Director of Operations to oversee engineering, production, safety, and facilities in a mission-critical shipbuilding environment. This role offers the opportunity to define strategy, improve performance, and lead teams in delivering aluminum vessels for the Department of Defense (DoD).

?? Strong expertise in DoD 5000.1/5000.2, ABS Rules, Lean/Six Sigma principles, and Value Engineering (VECP).
?? Experience implementing Design to Cost (DTC) targets, ERP systems, and production planning.
?? Must live in or relocate to the Vancouver, WA area-an on-site leadership role requiring full-time presence at the shipyard.
