The Plant Manager is responsible for all operations at the plant. The Plant Manager must direct the resources of the facility such that the plant operates within budget while delivering quality products, and superior service, in a safe and challenging work environment. Ensure optimal use of all facility resources to achieve the lowest possible cost in the manufacture of products that meet customer expectations, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
1. Establish clear plant goals and objectives in alignment with corporate strategies and business initiatives.
2. Coordinate development of subordinate level goals and action plans consistent with the overall plant goals and objectives.
3. Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies.
4. Monitor and implement annual capital plans that maintain the plant infrastructure, provide for new products and services, and provide productivity savings necessary to meet financial targets.
5. Maintain compliance with State & Federal environmental regulations.
6. Guarantee plant operates safely and in compliance with OSHA and regulatory mandates.
7. Ensure plant is operated in compliance with all environmental regulatory standards.
8. Identification, development and execution of cost savings / productivity projects.
9. Management of maintenance inventory parts & supplies.
10. Oversee food safety through good manufacturing practices compliance.
11. Ensure finished goods meet internal and external quality requirements through establishment of HACCP and other quality processes.
12. Identify and implement initiatives that provide our customers' continuous improvement opportunities in customer service.
14. Provide leadership in the creation of a zero injuries culture at the plant.
15. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a robust process safety management program for the plant.
25. Assumes responsibilities of the Plant Superintendent in their absence.
26. Communicate with Corporate for daily operations.
27. Appoint who is qualified to supervise and train in the plant.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Related Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in Plant and Production Supervisory positions; Experience in the Food Industry preferred
Equipment/Software Skills
MS Office Suite (Includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), AS 400
Familiarity with PLC, Warehouse Management Systems, Inventory Management Systems, Plant Automation Systems
Must be able to interface with mainframe, general accounting, MRP, and order processing.
