Senior Engineer PLC and DevOps

Your Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of research and development as well as product development in the Immersion Cooling division. This division specializes in cutting-edge solutions that leverage dielectric thermal fluids for high-performance computing cooling. Our technology spans both single-phase immersion and two-phase immersion methodologies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data centers, edge computing, and high-performance computing by ensuring that our software and system solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of software systems that support the Immersion Cooling platforms. You will develop and implement automated maintenance and provisioning solutions for Linux and Windows environments. Additionally, you will assist in selecting technologies that enhance system performance and meet company objectives. You will conduct software and hardware functional testing, ensuring compliance with reliability and security standards. You will also improve monitoring and auditing of electronic hardware development activities. Identifying and driving process improvements will be a key part of your role, with a focus on enhancing product quality and system efficiency. Furthermore, you will support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to internal and external system operations.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Software or Electrical Engineering. You should have at least seven years of experience in automation, system tools development, and PLC sensor integration. You must have advanced expertise in scripting languages, including Bash, PowerShell, and TwinCAT. A strong understanding of Windows and Linux system administration, automation, and orchestrationusing tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Salt is essential. Experience in Git revision methodologies and CI/CD automation frameworks, particularly using Python, is also required. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are necessary. You must be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in team leadership is considered a plus.
