CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Buyer for anelectronics manufacturing client in the Richardson, TX area. As the Buyer II, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of electronic components, handling purchase orders, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring smooth inventory control. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have electronics components purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Buyer:
Manage the entire procurement process for electronic components, including demand review, ordering, processing returns, and addressing invoice discrepancies.
Work with an internal system to track parts, verify accuracy, and ensure proper sourcing from approved vendors.
Handle daily reporting tasks, manage purchase requisitions, and troubleshoot shortages or quality issues.
Navigate and learn a unique, homegrown procurement system with multiple menu items, requiring strong retention and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with team members but remain independent in day-to-day work; contribute to a laid-back yet professional environment.
Compensation for the Buyer:
Employment type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
Salary/Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 (+/- based on experience)
Location: On-site
