Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced customer service specialist for the position of Resident Services Coordinator at a multifamily apartment complex in Palo Alto, CA. Robinson & Company has over 45 years of experience in professional property management and oversees over 450 residential units in Menlo Park, Palo Alto, and Stanford.

A Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for providing overall hospitality support to the community. The Resident Services Coordinator will greet residents, prospective tenants, and guests who call or visit the community. The ideal candidate will have a customer service background and provide appropriate, timely, and professional responses to resident complaints, making sure each interaction is handled with care and diligence. The Resident Services Coordinator will also interact with prospective tenants to answer questions about the community and provide tours of the property's grounds and amenities. The Resident Services Coordinator will also engage in community building by planning events, communicating regularly with the community, and advocating for the overall customer care experience for our community members.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the receptionist for a >100 unit community, with opportunities to expand to oversee the operations of an additional >65 member community.
  • Respond to resident complaints and oversee their positive resolution
  • Greet prospective tenants and tour the property with them
  • Support community development with event planning and outreach
  • Support the administration of lease paperwork and work order documentation
  • Maintain electronic property records in an organized manner
  • Perform related work and other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience preferably in a multifamily setting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, listening, and reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Hours Requirements
  • This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
