With the support of 70+ colleagues, across 4 US locations, and a pedigree that spans 10+ years in establishing and developing markets like Energy Storage, Solar, and more recently Sustainability, this is an opportunity to shape your own legacy. Renewable capital markets focus on the financial markets that facilitate investment in renewable energy projects and companies, encompassing activities like equity and debt issuances, asset deals, and mergers and acquisitions within the solar, wind, biofuel, and other related sectors. Focused on an exclusive approach, this role will utilizing the client demand across various divisions across Renewables & Built Environment industries.

Office location - LA (Santa Monica) - LA is the second largest of our four US offices, in the heart of Santa Monica, around the corner from Venice Beach, which is perfectly positioned for those looking to for an active lifestyle; We have an Early morning Surf Club, after work / lunchtime Run Club, Pilates & Spin sessions on your doorstep!

The office is surrounded by all the amenities you could need and boasts enviable views of the beach, short walk to Santa Monica Pier & array of eateries, without forgetting the farmers market! A diverse mix of young professionals, local LA'ers, expats and office dogs.

Could you be our next US leader?
  • Strategic leadership develop and execute a long-term growth strategy for the LA office in line with company goals.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share in the Financial or Clean Energy staffing sector.
  • Build and enhance the Piper Maddox brand reputation in the U.S. market.
  • Team management & development lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruitment consultants and managers.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and results.
  • Recruit and onboard top talent to grow the team.
  • Sales & revenue growth through business development efforts to build strong client relationships with technology companies.
  • Oversee sales targets, KPIs, and team performance to ensure revenue growth.
  • Build strategies to acquire new clients and maintain strong partnerships with existing ones.
  • Development of accounts
  • Market expertise stay ahead of trends in technology recruitment, identifying growth areas and market demands.
  • Serve as a thought leader for the brand, promoting colleagues to represent Lawrence Harvey at events, conferences, and in public forums.
  • Operational excellence collaborate with other global offices to align business operations and share best practices.
  • Continue promotion of cross functional collaboration - through Life Sciences, Clean Energy & Built Environment industries.

What We're Looking For?
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in staffing, ideally in the FS / Renewables associated sector.
  • Proven track record of growing and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong business development and client acquisition background.
  • Management of Managers essential. Skills: Exceptional leadership and motivational abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute actionable plans.
  • Expertise in U.S. recruitment market dynamics, particularly within the technology sector.
  • Attributes: Results-driven with a passion for building relationships and driving growth.
  • Collaborative and inspiring team player.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, competitive environments.
