This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing CMU's Academic Bulletins and curricular systems through data entry and management of the Enterprise Resource Management (ERP ) system and various other curriculum platforms. The role facilitates communication between the Curriculum and Instructional Support (CIS ) unit and campus stakeholders regarding the academic bulletin, ERP system, and the curriculum platform.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and professional/administrative work experience that equates to four years.
Two years of professional/administrative work experience.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
Established computer and technology skills including work within complex software and data entry platforms.
Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail including reviewing, writing, and editing complex documents in a multi-faceted office environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive attitude.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and problem-solve.
Ability to complete collaborative work, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of progressively responsible work experience in higher education.
Work experience involving curriculum and ERP systems.
Experience editing.
Technology experience, specifically in SAP or other ERP systems, MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Team), Adobe Suite, and/or InDesign.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develops and manages the publication of the CMU Bulletins, including logging changes and corrections to published bulletins.
Communicates with the curriculum platform vendor regarding bulletin rollovers for the upcoming year.
Ensures the processing of critical information is compliant, consistent, and accurate.
Proofreads and edits curricular proposals and minutes.
Completes bulletin updates including policies, major maps, faculty and staff lists, department and college information, admissions standards, accelerated programs, graduation requirements, degree candidacy, student support services and resources, academic information and supports, general information, and procedural information for non-academic units.
Collaborates, reviews, and communicates with a variety of CMU constituents, including but not limited to:
- College and university leadership regarding program changes.
- Human Resources and Faculty Personnel Services to obtain various lists.
- The CIS Graphic Designer regarding bulletin covers.
Provides curriculum platform training to departments for non-curricular items upon request.
Processes curricular changes in CMU bulletins and the ERP (SAP ) system, including creating, editing, suspending, and deactivating programs in the various systems. This includes running data extracts, verifying curricular proposal workflows, updating data and structures for degree progress, creating internal relationships for programs and degrees, and reviewing course change information.
Tracks program hiatus statuses and sends out reminders for programs on hiatus for five years or more.
Provides support to faculty and staff conducting research on course and program histories.
Advises faculty and staff on new or changing programs to ensure SAP and bulletin compatibility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
