Provide the administrative support for the Food Safety manager. Support the Operations department through confidential, administrative and technical functions. • Excellent oral and written communication skills; good typing and filing skills
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Ability to write reports and correspondence and read/understand operating statements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new computer skills
• Self-motivated with strong organization, prioritization and planning skills
• Demonstrated professional demeanor and ability to follow through to completion

• Supporting several managers
• Familiarity with food safety
• Familiarity with Kroger systems

• Provide day- to-day administrative support for above managers and staff
• Provide customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important and appreciated
• Produce and assemble materials and documents needed for meetings, training sessions and presentations
• Address general food safety calls from the stores, third party vendors and regulatory agencies
• Request, distribute, collect and file food safety documents for retention purposes, as well as for reporting requirements
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and trending data from internal and regulatory food safety audits
• Transcribe and/or composes letters, memos, and reports
• Process district/department mail and distribute accordingly
• Run reports from company applications
• Read and understand operating statements, work accurately with numbers and recap information
• Maintain communications between the store managers, coordinators and other districts
• Create reports and spreadsheets
• Supervise and coordinate events and activities
• Maintain 100% reporting and follow-through of product recall, contests, recaps etc.
