Technical Product Owner at Horizontal Talent in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team for a 12-month contract. This role is pivotal in driving the development and success of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities

• Define the overall scope of effort, features, and MVP with the squad.


• Break down features into stories and outline timelines, driving the team to meet deadlines.


• Manage project scope and timelines effectively.


• Coordinate sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.


• Coach team members on Agile frameworks and facilitate internal communication.


• Act as the point of contact for external communications.


• Collaborate with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.


• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles for the team.


• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.


• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.


• Drive product innovation and end-to-end launches.


• Collaborate with business partners and vendors to develop roadmaps and drive features from concept to launch.


• Translate data insights into actionable outcomes for customers.


• Partner with stakeholders to inform product vision, strategy, and prioritization.


• Maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch.

Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Technical Product Owner role.


• Strong familiarity with software development processes.


• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts.


• Proficient in Agile frameworks and methodologies.


• Outstanding communication and servant leadership skills.


• Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.


• Exceptional organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.


• Scrum Master certification.
